The Value Added Tax (VAT) or other tax rate used to calculate the tax applied to the order.  
This field is available only on these processors: `Chase Paymentech Solutions`, `Elavon Americas`, `FDC Compass`, `FDC Nashville Global`, `GPN`, `Visa Platform Connect`, `OmniPay Direct`, `TSYS Acquiring Solutions`.

`TSYS Acquiring Solutions`
:
The valid range is between 0.01 and 99.99 percent. The rate is entered as a decimal. For example:

    * **60%:** 0.6000
    * **33.33%:** 0.3333
    * **25.5%:** 0.2550

`Visa Platform Connect`
:
The valid range is between 0.01 and 99.99 percent. The rate is entered as a percentage. For example:

    * **60%:** 60.00
    * **33.33%:** 33.33
    * **25.5%:** 25.50

`Chase Paymentech Solutions`, `Elavon Americas`, `FDC Compass`, `FDC Nashville Global`, `GPN`, and `OmniPay Direct`
:
The valid range is between 1 and 99 percent. The rate is entered as a decimal. For example:

    * **60%:** 0.60
    * **33%:** 0.33
    * **25%:** 0.25
