Fields in Each Data Record {#batch-results-txns-response-data-records}

Within a transaction response file, each data record provides the REST API response information that corresponds to a payment request submitted in a batch file. A data record consists of a comma-separated list of fields that specify the REST API response to the batched payment request.
IMPORTANT Within a transaction response file, the order of the data records might not correspond to the order of the requests in your file. Within a data record, the fields are in alphabetical order of the field names.  
A data record consists of a header record followed by the REST API response values.

First field links the data record to the corresponding batch file

The first field in a data record is merchantReferenceCode. The value in this field matches the value in the merchantReferenceCode field of the corresponding batch file you submitted at the `Cybersource` `Business Center` or by using the `REST` API.

Subsequent fields contain the response information in alphabetical order

All subsequent fields in a data record specify the REST API response information, but in alphabetical order of the field name.
