Working with a Technology Partner
You can authorize a technology partner's solution to process transactions on behalf of
your merchants. To authorize a solution, you must grant a transacting merchant account
permission to use the
partner solution key
associated with the solution. You can
give your transacting merchants permission to use a key by onboarding a new merchant or
updating an existing merchant with the key information. Cybersource
also
ensures that the registered solution only performs actions authorized by your
merchants. This section describes how to onboard or update a transacting merchant account with a
partner solution key.

Overview of Partner Solution Key
A technology partner can have more than one registered solution that is used by
multiple transacting merchants. Transacting merchants can use multiple solutions
from different technology partners. A technology partner can register a custom
solution that is only usable by a specified partner reseller.
