Optional Configuration {#wc-optional-configuration}

These configuration options are optional, but you might need to enable them for your `Cybersource` merchant ID.

Tokenization
:
Select to enable the ability for merchants to save their card.

    You must enable this setting in your [`Unified Checkout` settings](https://developer.visaacceptance.com/docs/vas/en-us/unified-checkout/developer/all/rest/unified-checkout/uc-intro-setup/uc-intro-setup-ebc/uc-intro-customer-data.md "") as well.

Network Tokens
:
Select to have the extension check for Network Token lifecycle updates before a registered customer checks out.

Fraud Screening
:
Select to have the extension subscribe to fraud management webhook notifications. This is required if you have enabled fraud screening for your `Cybersource` merchant ID.

    > Set up fraud screening profiles in the ` Visa Acceptance Solutions ` ` Business Center `, or with support from your merchant services provider.

Checkout Version
:
Pin a version of Unified Checkout v1; for example, `1.7`. If you leave this field blank, the extension automatically uses the most recent version *(recommended)*.

Message Level Encryption
:
Select to turn on Message Level Encryption.

    > Even if you do not turn on Message Level Encryption, a Response MLE certificate is still required for the ` Unified Checkout ` response Webhook notification.
