Stored Credential Processing

There are several types of credentialed transactions:
  • Customer-Initiated Transactions (CIT)
    : Ad hoc customer-initiated transactions that use stored credentials.
  • Merchant-Initiated Transactions (MIT)
    :
    • Industry Practice Transactions
      : Merchant-initiated transactions that do not require stored credentials.
    • Standing Instruction Transactions
      : Merchant-initiated transactions that require stored credentials and customer consent to execute.
