This section shows you how to capture an authorized transaction.

Processor

The maximum amounts that can be processed are:

The maximum amount for an authorization is limited to 8 digits: 99,999,999.

The maximum amount for a capture or credit is limited to 7 digits: 9,999,999.

IMPORTANT

It is possible to authorize a transaction amount that is larger than the maximum supported capture amount. Multiple capture transactions can be combined to match the total authorization amount. This is then converted to a billable transaction record in the batch file that is sent to the processor for settlement.
