Features Introduced This Week

Invoicing and Pay by Link
 | RM-41120

Description
This release contains these updates:
  • Unpaid invoice links will automatically expire and become inaccessible one year after the invoice due date.
  • Receipt links for both Invoicing and Pay by Link will expire and become inaccessible 30 days after the payment date, including those sent in payment notifications to payers and merchants.
  • Receipts for paid invoice links will be inaccessible after 30 days.

Eliminates the risk of unpaid invoice or receipt details being accessible after its intended use.

Partner Risk Controls

Description
This update to Partner Risk Controls affects authorization declines in categories 2, 3, and 4. The velocity threshold has been expanded to 20 transactions in 30 days. MIT and CIT transactions are now counted separately, including category one declines.

Helps prevent merchants from re-attempting transactions and saves network fees.

Reporting

Description
When creating or updating a report subscription, the user can optionally filter the records based on advanced features. Under Advanced Report Features, the filter titled Connection Method is renamed to Client Application. This makes it consistent with the filtering options in Transaction Search. The list of values shown in this filter is updated to include more values and make it consistent with Transaction Search.
The following new values are added in the drop-down menu:

Merchant Boarding

Description
In Visa Platform Connect, during merchant boarding and merchant template creation, the Payment Type section now includes Payouts. When Payouts is selected, the Payouts currency and six other Payouts fields are available.
Audience
Portfolios that use Visa Platform Connect and also support Payouts.
Benefit
Portfolios on Visa Platform Connect can now board merchants who want to use Payouts.
Technical Details
Enable Payouts for VPC processor at the portfolio level. Payouts will become available in the merchant boarding flow.
