Getting Started

Create a Sandbox Account

Creating a sandbox account allows you to access to the
Business Center
. The
Business Center
 is where you will access Visa Intelligent Authorization.
  1. Visit this site: sandbox.html to access the sandbox account creation form.
  2. Complete all the required (*) form fields and click
    Submit
    .
    After you submit the complete form, you will receive an automated email that provides you with your first-time login and password reset instructions. Check your junk mailbox if this email doesn’t arrive after approximately two minutes after submitting the complete form.
  3. Log into the using the credentials that provided to you after you created your sandbox account.
    After you log into the for the first time, you will be prompted to set a new password.

Board Merchants

Use the Boarding Registration Service in the
Business Center
 to add merchants to your account. Boarding Registration streamlines and automates the boarding of merchant accounts using the
Business Center

  1. Configure product templates.
  2. Create a merchant organization.
  3. Set up your transacting organization and products.
  4. Configure products.

Enable Risk Controls

Configure risk control tools to minimize the amount of risk that the merchants in their portfolios face when processing transactions.
  1. Navigate to the Risk Controls page in the
    Business Center
     by selecting
    Risk Controls
     from the
    Business Center
     left navigation pane.
  2. Customize the Risk dashboard's modules. The risk dashboard provides a snapshot of risk control metrics for the merchants in your portfolio and helps you determine the effectiveness of your risk control.
  3. Enable and manage velocity rules, BIN number restrictions, and card number controls to configure risk controls at the Profile and Merchant levels.
  4. Define risk profiles for merchants within your portfolio.
