Product Overview

The package for Salesforce Billing adds secure credit card processing for merchants using Salesforce to automate post-sales payments from Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and more, with the opportunity to turn those customers into loyal subscribers with recurring revenue.

Available for use with any Salesforce-supported version of Salesforce CPQ or Salesforce Billing.

Getting Started

Prerequisite – Salesforce

Install CPQ and Billing; please see below for more details:

Cybersource Prerequisites

You will be able to configure this integration to either Test or Production. If you do not yet have a live Cybersource account, or you wish to first test the integration, then creating a sandbox account will not only allow you to start programmatic integration but also provides access to the Merchant Portal.

Generate REST Keys

Before configurating this integration, you are required to generate your REST keys within your Merchant Portal for both (Live) and (Test)

Sign into your Merchant Portal (Live) or (Test)
Access Payment Configuration -> Key Management
Select the 'Generate Key' button in the top right hand corner
Select your key type as 'REST - Shared Secret' and Generate Key
Copy your Shared Secret Key values and save them securely

Assign Cyber source Permission Sets and Layouts

The Cyber source package comes with two permission sets

Cyber source Admin User: Assign this permission set to Admin user who would be managing the key management of Cyber source managed package.

Cyber source Billing User: Assign this permission to all the users who would be doing payment processing.

Assign the Cyber source Gateway Layout of the Payment Gateway object to the user profile that manages the Cyber source key management

1. Go to Setup by clicking the gear on the right-side top.

2. Click Object Manager and go to Payment Gateway (blng__PaymentGateway__c) object detail.

3. Click Page Layouts.

4. Click Page Layout Assignment.

5. Click Edit Assignment to assign the Cyber source Gateway Layout to appropriate profile.

Add a new picklist value and create the Payment Gateway

1. Go to Setup by clicking the gear on the right-side top.

2. Click Object Manager and go to Payment Gateway (blng__PaymentGateway__c) object detail.

3. Click Fields and Relationships.

4. Click Gateway Type (blng__GatewayType__c).

5. Click View Gateway Type Value Set under Values section.

6. Click New under Values.

7. Enter “Cyber source Payments” and click Save.

a. Click on App Launcher > Payment Gateways. (blng__PaymentGateway__c)

b. Configure all necessary details, including:

· Payment Gateway Name

· Cybersource Merchant ID

· Gateway Type – value Cyber source Payments

· Endpoint (test/production)

· Select both the Active and the Default checkboxes

· REST Key ID (created in Step 1)

· REST Shared Secret (created in Step 1)

· Level of Data - Select the required Level of Data from the picklist. Required only for Credit Card payments.

· Token Type - The default value for token type is ‘Payment Instrument ID’. Change the value as needed, but Token type is a one-time choice and cannot be changed once the first token request has been called.

Configure the Payment Methods

By default the package supports Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and eCheck/ACH. To add additional card brands, create a custom metadata record.

Ready to Go Live

When you are ready to go live configure the cartridge using your production Cybersource account details. Please refer back to step 4 for details.
